This is a fun book! I enjoyed learning about the Appalachian Trail with Copper as my guide. I bought another copy for my niece and nephew, who are 8 and 10.

Excellent read!

I really enjoyed this AT story told from a new perspective. I love the trail and after hiking and reading all the memoirs-it was refreshing to read Copper and Blasts journey. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in the trail, outdoors and a unique hiker passage.

Checked this out after my brother hiked The Appalachian trail. It's intended for children but some of this had me laughing out loud and I am 27. It's an honest account of all the good and bad that happens on the trail. Definitely would recommend for middle school age group.

Excellent read! Children and adults will delight in the adventures of Copper and David. It is an accurate and enjoyable adventure of the tradition, trials, and lore associated with an AT hike! Great reading!
