GREAT book set! These branches book have been just what we have been looking for. They are perfect for my 3rd grader who struggles with reading but wants to be able to read chapter books. I believe they would be fun for any 3rd grade (probably 1st or 2nd as well) girl!

This is the first time I have seen my first grader read for 45 minutes straight. She loves these books. The messages are sweet, but have some reality to them. The added "owlriffic" vocabulary helps kids navigate unfamiliar words and add new context to words they may or may not know. I was worried these books would be a little too babyish, but the inter-relationional situations/conflicts between the owls (and within themselves) could apply to a wide range of ages.

I ordered these for my 7-year-old daughter who is starting to get really into chapter books. Her teacher has a couple of books in this series that she was always bringing home, so I figured it would be easier to just order them. She was thrilled! They were delivered two days later in perfect condition. I even ordered the next book which is being released in late May.

My daughter has never been the most avid reader but she got one of these from school and read it in one day to which she got the next in the series and when I seen it on her Christmas list I asked her why get them if she already read them she said she wanted her on set to rereadIt's good for kids who aren't really interested in reading because it doesn't follow a normal reading pattern in paragraphs it's full of vibrant colors and small spurts of text

My 1st grade daughter LOVES this series. She sat and read the first book cover to cover and asked for book 2! The format on the pages might take a younger reader a couple chapters to get used to. But that format is also part of what makes my daughter like the book so much. She is on book 7 now. It was a great way to get her to not only enjoy reading but get her to want to read enough to really try even if a difficult word came up. And now she is showing more confidence with other, less fun, books as well!

Purchased for a second grader who wanted books that are fun and easy to read in short settings. These are perfect for her needs. She easily read 1 per day during her reading breaks at school. She liked them so much that she asked for more and we have pre-ordered the next volume when it is published. Super cute and easy books.

i BOUGHT THESE BOOKS FOR MY DAUGHTER. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THESE BOOKS. SHE WAS HAVING TROUBLE READING. THESE WERE EASY TO READ. SHE READ THEM OVER AND OVER. HER READING IMPROVED SO MUCH FROM READING THESE BOOKS. MY DAUGHTER LOVES THESE BOOKS MORE BECAUSE HER NAME IS EVA . SHE WAS THRILLED SOMEONE USE HER NAME FOR A CHARACTER. I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY THESE BOOKS FOR HER EVEN THOUGH SHE IS GETTING OLDER. SHE WILL KEEP THESE BOOKS FOREVER.

I read these books to my 5-year old daughter at night. She is now learning to read them also. We read two chapters a night and she looks forward to bedtime because she can't wait to find out what happens next. The plots are very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book series for a young reader. We still have to read book 5 in this set, and already purchased books 6-10.
