Some people write about living radically for Jesus. Other people actually live radically for Jesus. Jimmy Seibert in Passion and Purpose does both. Jimmy's radical life of faith has challenged, inspired and transformed me. What I love about his story though is that the life he and those in the Antioch movement is that it is accessible to anyone. Passion and purpose is not for the exceptionally gifted or uniquely called but for anyone seeking to live a life fully abandoned to Jesus. It's also a story of a people. Antioch movement is flying under the radar in a lot of mainstream evangelical movement but the fruit is undeniable. I'd encourage anyone to read this book and prepare to get new hope for what the church can be.

Fantastic book! I've already ordered a bunch of copies for others.Tells the story of Jimmy Seibert and the Antioch churches that have multiplied both in the USA and around the world through simple prayer, discipleship and obedience to the Word of God. Challenging and inspiring!

This is a good read for anyone who wants their faith stirred and hope renewed without feeling pressured. When I started reading this book I had no idea what to expect. I soon could hardly put it down. I ended up going back to this book whenever I felt like I needed a reminder of what God does, with regular people, in this time. It is full of true and amazing stories of God working through people to make something much bigger and better come about. This book motivated me to want more, but at the same time to look to God for it and follow instead of putting the pressure on myself to do everything right.

I loved this book! For anyone who is tired of reading the Bible and wondering why our church today looks nothing like the New Testament church we read about - this book is for you. In his humble yet strong voice, Jimmy tells the stories of what God is doing in his life, the church, and the nations of the earth. You will be excited, challenged, and encouraged that God is moving powerfully today, and He wants to use YOU! One read of this book and you will never look at your Bible, your church, or your life the same again.

This book really challenges you to live a life abandoned to Jesus and His purposes on the Earth. Jimmy Seibert really simplifies being a disciple of Jesus to the Great Commandment and Great Commission. If we were simply given to those two things, Jimmy makes the case that we could really change the world.

Humbling. Inspiring. Modeling. I want to live like that. I'm grateful a church like I read about in the Bible still exists. I was beginning to lose hope.

I am a missionary in Thailand and I can't convey how awesome it is to hear about a pastor who has a global vision! I believe that this book is a picture of what God is doing in the American church and I encourage anyone who is connected in any way to the Body of Christ to read it. For those who are not Christians, this book can give you a better idea of what Jesus meant for his church to be... and realize that we are all growing!

Going to Antioch Houston and reading this book helped me see the church is NOT dead!!!! I am all in!
